Rest in Peace, Jim Simons

Like me, many have been inspired by Jim Simons, the relatable human, mathematician, and hedge fund manager who founded Renaissance Technologies. His pioneering work in quantitative finance has revolutionized the industry, setting new standards for mathematical precision and profitability.

It would be an insult to the great man to call myself in his league, but I am proud to be a part of the same industry that he has helped shape. His lectures, elusive as they are - have been a source of inspriration and treasure trove of knowledge for me. Here is a small thank you note to him. To quote Newton, "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.". Jim Simons is one such giant in the field of mathematics and finance.
